I saw where some stores had barrel condoms to slip over the barrel and were a bit pricey .

I take a surgical gloves and cut the fingers off so they are about 1 1/4" long . Slip the cutoff on a finger and roll it up so it looks like a mini condom . Then slip it over the barrel to keep dirt & debries out . It will come off when you shoot your ML . I keep a couple extra with my possibles .

You dont have to go through the hassle of finding that stuff

Ive used nothing other than black electrical tape over the muzzle for years.

Wipe the barrel crown and sides abit with alchol so the tape sticks.

1 piece should be enough. In fact I wouldnt double it up

never had a problem,

shoots right through it,

no loss in accuracy

It doesn't take much effort to cut the fingers off of a surgical glove . I havn't strained myself yet .

p.s. ---- I havn't changed my name to "fateddie" yet !

I was going to try the black electrician tape but I couldn't locate a black electrician !

Paula ...... a drooping baloon could be bad . You can slide it down the barrel . I have my in-line scoped so I took the front sight off so it wouldn't cut my finger baloon .
