Never cared much for Cats, I had one show up here on the farm many years ago and the wife took him in and took care of him. He was an outside cat for the most part and he ended up living here for more than a dozen years. He would come in handy when I had some pups to start training for Coon, he actually liked getting involved and doing it.

That is awesome ! Is it de-clawed ? I’m assuming the DEC gave you a permit for it ? How long have you had it ? I hate to seem nosy , but I’m very interested and find it fascinating. Thanks

I think he’s joking. But do you remember Bobcat Sports in Mahopac? That tackle shop had a live bobcat behind the counter fenced in with the owner. It was huge

This is my cat after he followed me to my tree and almost got eaten by a coyote. His name is Neo because I almost ran him over on an old dirt road. Went right over top of him. He is the “Chosen One.” My wife screamed to stop and we found him hiding in the tall grass. We brought him to the house and he was infested with fleas. Cleaned him up and he has been with us ever since.

"We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. Thus, and not otherwise, may we be able to assist in preserving peace in the world. The first step – in the direction of preparation to avert war if possible, and to be fit for war if it should come – is to teach men to shoot!"

Hey Biz-R-OWorld.... did that guy who owned the bait shop pass away ? Always wondered about him.

From what I remember he retired up in the ADK’s so he closed and moved away but that was years ago

Our cat Mini when she was around one year old. Five years old now. We found her in the chicken coop the morning after an unidentified car stopped in front of the house, slammed his door and took off. She’s now the defacto rooster of my wife’s little chicken flock and has her own clean and heated apartment in the coop.

Gets along with our little Maltese and is very affectionate, but protective of my wife’s birds. She’s gotten into it with an opossum, a few raccoons, and a young fisher (that’s all we know of)  but still has lots of lives left. She kills rodents but leaves songbirds alone.

I tried getting her to be an in the house cat but she wants no part of it although she comes in for a visit and a treat every day. She’s got a standing invite to move in.

Very kind of you, Larry....I'd like to adopt her myself, but if I brought her home The Mermaid wouldn't let me keep her....<<SIGH>>….

Actually both my kitchen and Mrs, aren’t as up to date , not sure it’s worth the money to rebuild either at this point .

Paul on the left with Jenny. Paul was a feral cat that we Havaheart trapped because he had an injured leg.  Had him neutered and his leg treated. 3 days later he returned and after a couple months he came in the house and that was 5 1/2 yrs ago.

This is my cat Luna, she is 8 months old now. Her mother was a feral that gave birth in a girls garage and the kittens brought to a rescue agency. I got her when she was 3 months old. She is a happy camper now! She is an indoor kitty!
