What a gorgeous day today

I worked out in my garage all afternoon,With my  big slider door wide open. Quite the day for first of January. Planning on tomorrow going to the lease and doing some scouting.

Absolutely, we are hoping to go walk some stateland in the search for shed antlers, and exercise.  I have seen two half racks while deiving, hoping its not too early.  Either way...

I am gonna try and hit the lake tomm. if the rain holds up....Love this weather..

Def great and one day closer to spring. Cut brush for about an hour and a half on lease. It was so nice out.

I went gun shopping for an AR to a few gun shops. (Narrowing down the search.) Then finished taking down the Christmas lights. Saw a couple of convertibles with the tops down, and a few motorcycles out and about too. 

Got up to about 65 degrees. I think it broke a record high for here, on this date! I love it for early January! Though it won't help with getting out to ice fish any time soon.

It was  a nice day, Rob...I drove past Goodhue about 2:00 PM and saw some dude with a death wish out in the middle ( 20 FOW)  fishing...Lots of darks spot and thawing spots showing...

I went hiking with the gun and dogs today's. Was hoping to see a pheasant  but all we saw we people kn bikes people  walking people people people ughhhhh

Finally got around to retrieving the cushions & pads from my ladder stands today. Oh yeah, gorgeous day, but super boggy where I was.

I did some more post season scouting ( 4th weekend in a row now) and put up a few trail camera's. I also stacked some more firewood on the porch and grilled some Costanza's sausage afterwards. I sat outside and washed them down with a beer. I'll take a spring day this time of year!

Grilled burgers outside on the ole weber like it was a beautiful spring day .. I hope we don't get winter at all this year .

Worked 10-5 today. Manage a golf store and dome to hit balls. 20 Toptracer ( like Topgolf) in dome to play virtual golf. We were crazy busy all day. Tomorrow will be the same.

Went for a walk with the wife today,it doubled as a scouting trip for me. Gilbert Lake state park,awesome woods there,very diverse. I will be bowhunting there in October for sure. It totally felt like spring,we loved it. 

Snow for cross country skiing would be nice too.

Took the dogs for a walk.  Took down the rest of the Xmas lights. Cleaned the chicken coop.

  Was going to clean the shop, but I can do that when it's 0° outside.

Got a bit done, worked in the garage too. 

Have to put together new weight bench still and squat rack.

Threw together some scrap lumber (Driveway markers and bed slats) to hang some old pots/pans from.

Kids enjoyed hurtling bbs from the red rider at the metal.

It was a beautiful day. Took my daughter for a walk and got to shoot my bow for a little bit.
