ALBANY — Gov. Andrew Cuomo flew to Puerto Rico Tuesday with 115 members of the National Guard, blankets, pillows and emergency kits, hoping to help the island hit hard by earthquakes over in recent weeks.

Cuomo traveled with state Budget Director Robert Mujica, Gil Quiniones, the president of the New York Power Authority — the state’s electric utility — state and city officials, and representatives from nonprofits like the Red Cross.
