nybuckboy
Have been disappointed with what I been seeing thus far this season. Hoping an all day sit proves fruitful and the big boy comes along.

Fantail
Haven't done an all day sit in a while, but with all the leaves down it's like walking on pringles so it's tempting. By the way while in Herb Phillipsons the other day I saw a semi-compact stanley that would be great for 3-4 cups or some hot soup. Picked one up just in case. nybuckboy
I did not see a single deer and I tried several stands. Didn't even see one in the distance. I spoke with another hunter with vast more experience than I who siad that with the full moon... the deer are running all night and warm weather they bed all day. He said that any day now things will change though. The doe are being chased but they are not ready to stand for breeding and that is when the big mature will be up and moving about even during the day. I agree with your vastly more experienced hunter buddy.
