How is Deer Hunting in Bethel NY?

I am considering hunting in Bethel NY this season. Anyone familiar with the area? How is the local deer population?

I'm in the town next to Bethel, deer population is good. I see deer all over Bethel when passing through, and the fields are loaded.

Only place I know that is cheap is the Fosterdale Lodge in Cochecton - > http://www.fmlodge.com/

Not the greatest place, stayed there a few times last year before we had our place built. I suspect during the opening week of rifle their rates might be different
