vipertech
So, how do you like to cook up your game? Favorite recipes? Should we have a specific forum for recipes and cooking tips/tricks? I'm pretty lazy about my cooking. I tend to like the quick and dirty. One of my favorites and super easy ways of cooking venison is to cut it up into bite sized squares. Then put the squares in a Tupperware container with flour. Shake it up till the squares are covered with flour. Then deep fry them in a pan filled with vegetable oil. Six minutes in the oil seems to be plenty. Sprinkle your favorite seasoning over em or try dipping in blue cheese. Generally speaking, I like to eat the tenderloins right away. My current favorite way of doing them is to just fry them in a pan with some butter and onions. If I'm feeling up to it, I might use the grill. The onions are a key thing though, I love onions with tenderloin.
Doc
I tend to be pretty lazy about my cooking too. So I generally have the wife do it. I think we wind up with a better job of it too.
fasteddie
I like to take the Backstraps and soak them in Peppercorn Marinade for a few hours and then grill the steaks . Da-yum , i'm getting hungry thinking about that !
WNYBuckHunter
I have many many recipes for venison. I also use it as a general replacement for beef.
Doc
I'll tell you what. The internet has gobs and gobs of all kinds of wild game recipes with most of them being venison. I've done searches, and always come up with more recipes than I could ever even read. Doc

Geno C
Actually it might not be a bad idea to have a recipe section on this site designated for cooking wild game. Just a thought!
Culvercreek hunt club
I am with Geno.. a section of the forum would be great. I think I am more likely to try a recipe if it comes recommended from someone who has tried it.
