The season is long to some but it seems to go fast if weekends are your only time to hunt.

Yeah ... This sucks rifle season just ended today .2 + months of hunting should be enough right? Well that is what my woman says..I can never seem to get enough .I know that big one must be hiding in that swamp I did not hunt enough. One more weekend with the muzzleloader then it is the long wait until next year.

I feel like i have not hunted enough, my husband decided not to go out. muzzleload and bow starts the 12th. never got my tag for ML.

I bought my muzzle loader license early this year, today I switched a vacation day at work so that I can go hunting Monday next week. I am hunting Sun and Mon. if all goes according to plan. I just wanted to get out again.Merry Christmas to me, merry Christmas to me ....... I don't take vacations during the summer so I am going to sit somewhere with old smokey one shot and enjoy not being at work. Not bragging just happy.

I wonder how the bow only areas at Letchworth are this week ? Could be good.

my buddy and his dad hunted in an archery only area in letchworth this sunday and each got a doe and had a 3rd doe duck the arrow at 40 yards. im set up a stand in one f the areas and im gonna leave it alone until the 20th and hope for a last day deer. good luck

Good luck to you too. I might go to Letchworth the 19th but If I wan't to use a M.L. I have to go on the eastside. Bow I can go westside. It doesn't matter to me as long as I go.

Yup i am heading back down to letchworth on friday....Bow and muzzle for me.. Between the park and our farm,,I wonder if its legal to have the smokepole on one hanger and the bow on the other hanger...In the same tree!!!!

its looking like great weather out in letchworth this weekend high of 30 saturday and a high of 36 sunday. i wish i was able to make it out for the weekend but i cant make it back until tuesday. either gonna hunt the park the entire day or hunt the park half day the spend the last few hours in centerville hunting the lost nations really good state land known for alot of deer and bear sightngs.

I'm getting tired of cutting up deer, glad its almost over. I had a small six point walk up to within 15 yrds of me today and I jumped out from behind the tree and yelled boooo. Little turd turned inside out getting away from me. Had a good laugh and went home.

I took Monday off, so Ill be out for 3 days to finish the season out. Yesterday morning there were 4 nice does feeding in the cut corn across from my house. As soon as the pressure goes down and the temps drop, they come back out. Im also hunting a buudy's place this weekend where they have been seeing a real nice buck regularly, but both guys already burned their buck tags on opening day.

I think i may venture to 7a tomorrow to see if i can rustle up something. I have a spot over there that i havent hunted in 3 years. Hope the permanent stand is still in ok shape.

Wow...3 years tug???? Man be very carefull with that stand. Thats a long time for a stand if there has been no repairs or any hunting from it!!! Safety belt for sure! Good luck!!

Yes sir, always. Its only 6 years old, but alot can happen in 3 years.
