This is my opinion and I'm not bashing enjoy the meat it will be great. 5 came in . 1 was a fawn. After the whiff on big buck last night I picked the best shot .The biggest 2 didn’t give me a clean shot. Well enjoy eating this venison for sure. 1 more for the freezer would be ideal.

Nomad
Wrap up . 6 deer, 5 bucks in an hour and a half 3 shooters if you count the half rack , and one other I’d probably shot at this point . Two were absolute slobs , big bodies racks tall and well outside the ears , the half rack was at one Time a good 8pt, the right side was outside that ear . When I saw the half , I wanted to think it through before he was in range . Many would say, he made it this far , and next year he’ll be bigger and have both sides , so hold off . After a few seconds I thought if he comes another 20 yards he’s jerky and chili ! There’s plenty of big ones letting him go isn’t that big a deal . It was so nice , my spot hunted like it always does, after a total sh!t show of a season . This was my last hunt .... now I thinking tomorrow, but she just mentioned shopping and dinner out , “ unless “ I want to hunt . I’ll have to tread lightly on this . May even let her beat me in Jeopardy. Edited December 18, 2020 by Nomad

518BowSlayer
Thinking about going out with muzzleloader in the am .. need to get away for a bit ... lost my mother Friday. Have spent the last 2 weeks running between work and sitting with her. Just burned out I guess. Would love to get another deer . Sorry to hear that man. I lost my father in October. Time in the woods helped me clear my head a little. Hope it helps you tooSent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk 2

Swamp_bucks
3/4 done with driveway should be done with a couple more hours in the morning. Then I have to decide take the ml in nut high snow for a chance at seeing something.

I'm not far from 23 in oxford/norwich area. We got alot of snow but its light. I got about 32-38 depending on how the wind was blowing. Biggest issue was where they plowed the road it was just above the bottom of my windows on my truck at my driveway.

This was behind my house. Our buck to doe ratio is way out of whack, so TF was sent on a management hunt. He did what was asked of him, which isn't always easy, but it needed to be done.
