Hoping to get back up tomorrow and Friday, then heading to pa camp with the boys, don’t tell emperor Cuomo or king Wolf on us.

Taking a break till Friday, afternoon, taking Kathy again , this time she knows for sure where the safety is .... It’ll be warm and she’ll sit in “her” stand , a lot of deer have died there over many years , but it’s been slow this year , its gotta pay off at some point.

Hunting hard Sat/sun may sit all day in a hut . Never ever sat all day in 40 some years .

Got up a little late and made it to my stand at 7:00. No breakfast, one coffee. 

Sat there for 20 minutes as a cold wind started ripping through me. Am now back in cabin with a warm full belly and thinking about the afternoon.

Didn't see anything at my place last night and my cell cameras didn't get anything last night either. Might head out with a buddy at his place tonight.

been seeing a lot of deer in groups of 7-10 out in the fields in the early am's now.  Going out tomorrow morn unless its pouring.   Thinking anything steps out over 90 #s is in play.   Still have a feeling late muzzle might be a BBD !

I went out yesterday to a spot I have killed a buck mid day twice in last 2 years. Sat noon to dark and didn't see a deer. Wind was constantly changing directions. That had to be it? Felt good just to be out as this covid crap is still knocking me down. Good luck to those out there.

1/2 rack spike has been watching me for 45 min.   Couple of doe and an unknown that was chasing the spike towards me and veered off.   I assume bigger buck pushing him away.  Better than a skunk I guess but still waiting for the right buck.

Yes sir, very VERY calm day, still zero breeze, but now overcast.  It is as if no animals exist either.  Nice view you have, thank you, and good luck to you as well.

Out in 3m since 5am this morning. One small doe so far but that’s it. Breezy now but it still beats working today.
