So what are most of the people left hunting seeing deer feeding on? Or does it totally depend on the makeup of the area we are all hunting?

Spending the day down in 9P near Rattlesnake Hill. Buddy already has a buck down as a herd of 8 snuck by in a ravine. Big woods hunting is always fun.

I wanted to walk my property line(all 10 acres) to see if anything was going on. I just got back from pulling my traps. It doesn’t look like anything was moving through here deer or fur last night.

There are still a big 7 pointer, 8, and 10 pointer in my woods, who are all coming around almost every single night. The 10 pointer even left a fresh rub a few nights ago. Even if I never get a chance to see them during the day, at least I know that nobody else got them either...

showered, bed by 10, rested and alarm and coffee goes off. No drive. It's hard when you're not seeing deer on 2 properties. Evenings have been unproductive but I'll trodd out anyhow tonight and pull cams to hopefully not be disappointed at what was there in the morning haha.

the big boys went into the basement for quarantine like Biden too!  Lol   good luck, knock em down!

No basement for me but wearing mask 15ft up today.  Not exactly n95....though it may have cost 9.95.  Gotta go to work good luck to all still at it.

I had a gaggle of doe work through last weekend and they all were eating the ferns , bizs dad watched a doe feeding on ferns for almost an hour.

I haven't been out in 2 weeks and my wife was able to work from home for a couple of hours this morning that meant I could hunt until 10 and get home to the kids.
I forgot to set my alarm last night. I got up at 630 and said screw it I'll be hunting Sunday.  
645 I changed my mind showered and was in the stand at 745.
At 9 am a button buck steps out at 20 yards feeding. The whole time the little one is feeding I can make out the ears of another deer 70 yards at in the brush but it won't come out. After 25 min the little one walks off 10 min later I look over where the other deer was in the brush and I can see a big doe staring at me behind some brush . I put the cross hairs behind her shoulder and in the cloud of smoke I can she her trotting off.
She went all of 60 yards and piled up. Double lung shot.
I'll have this one butchered and surprise my grandma with the meat.

Main goal was to get a Christmas Tree. Along the way I saw 5 does and I cut a bear track. No mature bucks on my cameras.

I've had them hang around before also and don't like it.  This wouldn't didn't hang around.  While following the blood trail I jumped 2 deer with my luck it was the little one and maybe a buck that was hanging back with the big toe that I shot. Lol

Finally did a little drive with my buddy's today that we were going to do a few days ago. We moved a few deer and one doe was missed that should have been a dead deer. Good time with good buddy's. Maybe I'll get out this afternoon.

I had twins sit there and watch me, I had to run them off but they came back!

Congrats @ Red on a Nice Doe. Getting back out today after a 6 day hiatus. Just a few hunts left for me this year. Good luck to all those out.
