How is this not sick

I don't think it will be close.  Very few will cast their vote for Biden, after they get a glimpse of his performance in a live debate.  I expect him to carry California and that may be it.  At this point, NY is a toss up.   Many have fled the city since the Pandemic, as that former Democratic stronghold continues to crumble, along with many other Democratic controlled urban areas.  The folks just dont want that nightmare for the rest of the country.
The polls may show Biden in a lead now, before he has taken any tough questions , but we all learned in 2016 what they are good for.  I expect Biden will move quietly into an assisted living center next year where he will be able to get the help he needs.  Trump is good for 4 more years in the Whitehouse, and then things will get even better with 8 more years of Pence.

NY is a toss up?!?!? Come on man!! The only thing getting tossed up in NY is Chef’s salad after Trump wins...but NY...no shot

I think chef will return to his senses shortly after the start of the debate.  Biden's only shot at getting that vote would be if it gets sent in before that.

One way you can judge a President's or a candidates mental health is to look at who they pick as their VP.   There was a time, long ago, when the dems did ok at that.  I was ok with Truman.  Since then, they have seriously digressed, finally reaching the point of picking one based on their sex and skin color.

One of the biggest reasons I will vote for Trump is because of Pence.  Pence was one of the most successful Governers of all time and has well demonstrated the "executive" ability.  He has always demonstrated strong conservative values.

Look at how Pence handled his state's budget while he was governor.  That is where this great country's future lies.  If you prefer socialism, I suggest packing your suitcase and shuffling off to one of those places that have already tried that failed experiment.

Indiana under Pence was in no way an example of economic growth or stability and his handling of the HIV crisis was horrific ... even currently there are Republican governors that are doing a better job than Pence. Absurd.

The choice is hardly between a theocracy or communism. This is the same old false narrative being spouted by misguided evangelicals.

What is not to like about a balanced budget, like Pence pulled off most years while he was governor.?

Do you think Biden made a good pick for his VP ?

Why did he not get a bounce in the polls after the dnc?

In my opinion, that was mostly due to his horrible pick for VP.   With that move, he blew any chance he might have had at winning the election.

Biden went into the convention holding historic margins over Trump. Not sure what sort of bump you were looking for.

Harris is great. I know the double whammy of being black and a woman is too much for some to handle...

On page 3 of this thread, I responded to the alleged outrage over the possibility that there might not be a smooth transfer of power if Trump were to lose the 2020 election.

I must have written it in invisible ink, or perhaps it flew over the heads of those I was responding too.

Or, perhaps it was too touchy a subject to try and address in any credible  manner how Hillary, the left wing media, government agencies, and the never Trumpers violated that very principle.

Here 5 pages of posts later, this thread has deteriorated to the point that people are being called "stupid", as well as inferring and/or implying in a disgusting passive aggressive manner that members here are racist.

Good natured debate and differing opinions are one thing, but some of you are hitting a troubling new low on this site.

Classy

Call it what you want. This thread has gone well beyond "discussion". Her mother was Indian and her father was Jamaican which makes her "a women of color".

The only thing historic about Biden, is that he's done absolutely nothing after 47 years of being in politics.

Actually that's not true, he did do something, he got filthy rich selling US jobs to China and Ukraine.

Kamal's father is Jamaican and her mother is from India/South Asia, so maybe she's blackish, like Elizabeth Warren was Native Americanish ?

Most of the Jamaicans I know are proud of their Caribbean heritage and take offense at being called African American.

Like Ol' Joe, I choose truth over facts.

It sounds like versatile likes her.

Speaking of talented women, Trump's new Supreme court justice seems to be very good.  I especially like her strong Christian values, which should help out immensely with overturning Roe vs Wade.  It is hard to imagine a better pick and it is totally awesome that there is not a damn thing that the misguided atheist Democrats can do to stop it.

It’s so funny that all you guys say you believe in the constitution yet want to push your religious “values” on others. The two do not go hand in hand

The biggest obstacle preventing Biden from winning the Presidency is his turning his back on his Christian faith, as displayed by his VP pick.  She is widely regarded as the most pro abortion member of Congres,   supporting even those in late term.

The reason that misscalculation is holding him back, is that roughly 3/4 of  US voters identify as Christian.  When you add those of the Jewish faith, the numbers look even worse for him.  Each of those Faith's  share the "thou shall not kill" commandment.

Both faiths teach that new life begins at conception, which can also be simply shown scientifically (half of the DNA in a 2 cell embryo is from the father and the other half from the mother, making him/her "new").

This country was founded on Judeo Christian principles.  Are you also opposed to "In God we trust" on our currency ?

once you take   Judeo Christian principles  from kids learning in schools you can pretty much  trick people into anything.   The government can say  there are  1000 sexes or they can tell you they have the power to control the earths temperature  and so on  . Biden the other day said  a black man was the first to  invent the light bulb .
