1st DEBATE: Trump vs Biden On 9/29/2020. TUESDAY NIGHT.

That's a cheap shot. The man lost some weight. Give him a break. I can't wait to make fun of your Vagina neck after a Trump style weight loss

You should go lube up his neck and give him a pearl necklace

My favorite part was at the end when the “debaters” were greeted by their wives. Mama Joe kissed Joe with her mask on! So fin!

No matter who’s side you are one, I think we can all agree it was like watching 2 - 8 year olds arguing..

Today i feel like we are in a third world country. Again i wish someone had come along as an independent with a calm and common sense demeaner and smoked both of them and then called out both parties when the bickering starts in the capitol and show what a mess they are.  Sickening. Do you vote for the Ahole or the suck hole?

Really concerned about 11/4 when the rioting starts cause its a close election.

I would say the scariest part of the night is when asked to denounce white supremacy, Trump tells them to stand back and stand by.

That is a far cry from Denouncing... we are in serious trouble

That was a 3 part question not just white supremacy.  It was asked for him to also denounce the militia, all in the same question. Trump asked for group names, but Chris did not give any.I think he answered it well.

That was awful and both candidates looked bad. I have really been considering not voting this year because neither one of these guys represent me.

I know I’m giving up a constitutional right but my god I don’t want to be associated with either of them.

I think the mistake we all make is voting for the man, rather than what he represents. Voting for Biden (or not voting at all) means more liberalism, BLM, anti-police, higher taxes with no real benefit for anyone, and working towards gun confiscation, and socialism/communism. Is that what you want for our country?

if he is to be the president of the united states - the most powerful person in the world, you should be able to vote on their character as well.  And I say this also not being able to stomach Biden either. Its embarrassing for our country.  It doesnt have to be hold your nose to vote and it shouldnt be. Not to these extremes. I want for our country something better than these two and a president that acts like a president while doing it.  These things dont have to be mutually exclusive.  How anyone walks away from that last night encouraged is beyond me.

Can't you see the progress that has been made under Trump ?  3 strong, conservative Supreme court justices, vanquished ISIS, black unemployment at all time low, slowdown of illegal immigration, allies sharing the bill for NATO, top-notch VP,  and much more.

It is not all about words, deeds should count for more.

Rob answered this perfectly for me. If you take the man out of the equation and only vote on policy I would put my vote in for Trump because he has some ideas and has done somethings that I agree with versus Biden who has ideas I don't agree with and don't think would be in the best interest for myself.

The President represents the United States as a whole. He's the one in charge the face of the Nation etc. Is it to much to ask for a person that represents the same ideas I have AND be a decent person? I don't need him to be liked amongst world leaders I just don't want him to act like a child that didn't get his dessert. Don't get me wrong either Biden didn't exactly come away last night as the bigger man.

So here I am stuck voting on policy only because the guy that would get my vote is an asshole and we all know it. So I go to the polls vote Trump and feel a little less about myself because I voted for a guy that can't keep his mouth shut.

I'd rather just stay home at this point and vote in 2024 and pray both sides put out far better candidates for us to vote on.

If you've read earlier posts I have stated a bunch of times I like a whole lot of what he has done.  But there is no reason we can't have and someone presidential and just respectful.  It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive. I also don't like a few things he has done as well.  Most of it stemming from the hole below his nose.  It's just embarrassing for the country that these two are what we role out.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, that is one of the things that is still great about this country. I personally support the president, regardless of the things he may say at times. He can do better as a debater, having the media and the left nipping at your heels for 4 years has obviously taken it's toll on him, and it almost seemed as if he resented being in the same room as Chris Wallace. But the thought of letting the far left transform this country into a gunless, socialist third world country WAY outweighs any character flaw that the president has. MAGA, vote TRUMP 2020!!!:superblue:

I agree, to some degree. He obviously took the wrong approach this time. He's an intelligent guy, I'm confident he'll learn from this mistake & have a different approach for the next 2 debates. But, in my opinion, the media and the Democratic politicians have brutalized the man & his family, even before he took the oath of office. Millions of dollars & time spent on a bogus impeachment trial, absolute direspest from the mainstream media at every turn, and complete disdain shown by every democratic politician. I honestly believe that the average hard-working American citizen can see through most of this, keep their emotions out of the picture, and vote for the man who represents our best interests.
