I think the mistake we all make is voting for the man, rather than what he represents. Voting for Biden (or not voting at all) means more liberalism, BLM, anti-police, higher taxes with no real benefit for anyone, and working towards gun confiscation, and socialism/communism. Is that what you want for our country?

If I could  give this 5--likes I would.:good:

Rob answered this perfectly for me. If you take the man out of the equation and only vote on policy I would put my vote in for Trump because he has some ideas and has done somethings that I agree with versus Biden who has ideas I don't agree with and don't think would be in the best interest for myself.

The President represents the United States as a whole. He's the one in charge the face of the Nation etc. Is it to much to ask for a person that represents the same ideas I have AND be a decent person? I don't need him to be liked amongst world leaders I just don't want him to act like a child that didn't get his dessert. Don't get me wrong either Biden didn't exactly come away last night as the bigger man.

So here I am stuck voting on policy only because the guy that would get my vote is an asshole and we all know it. So I go to the polls vote Trump and feel a little less about myself because I voted for a guy that can't keep his mouth shut.

I'd rather just stay home at this point and vote in 2024 and pray both sides put out far better candidates for us to vote on.

Very true, NY is a Blue State and probably will always be as long as we are associated with NYC. One thing your statement made me realize is that there is more to vote for on election day besides the POTUS. I'm back to going to the polls!

Nixon won NY in 1972 and Reagan won it in both 1980 and 1984.  Hard to believe that was possible even back then, but it just shows that a conservative republican can win in a traditional blue state like NY, but Trump sure as hell is not going to be the one to do it!

Can you watch the footage of both again I am not a conspiracy nut but will call out things that don’t look right, it’s not a fairytale but a fairly asked good question as Biden would not consent to a electronics check.

if he is to be the president of the united states - the most powerful person in the world, you should be able to vote on their character as well.  And I say this also not being able to stomach Biden either. Its embarrassing for our country.  It doesnt have to be hold your nose to vote and it shouldnt be. Not to these extremes. I want for our country something better than these two and a president that acts like a president while doing it.  These things dont have to be mutually exclusive.  How anyone walks away from that last night encouraged is beyond me.

Agreed. It used to be that the man rose to the office. Think what you may of him, W Bush was a good example of this. It used to be that, politics aside, the President was someone to admire. Aspire to. Respect. That's all gone.

Trump has dragged the office down to the basest level -- lower than anyone ever thought possible. And because he is easy to manipulate, he is being used by those who loathe him to further their agenda.

Biden tried to have a normal debate and was caught off guard by Trump's ridiculous behavior. Christie as asked if this is the debate approach they prepared. He said, "no." A younger Joe Biden might have handed Trump his ass, but not this one.

I am forever amazed by the "we know he's an assholy, stupid, base moron but - sub in your favourite cause here: Supreme Court! 2nd Amendment! Abortion! Stock Market! - as if there is now a mutually exclusivity to furthering a political agenda and being a decent human being. This is not how it is supposed to be.

Trump isn't fighting for the country, an agenda, the american people ... he's fighting for himself. He knows that the moment he leave office the door is going to knock and his world will come crashing down. He is the Bernie Madoff of real estate developers and you can only hide behind that curtain for so long.

I'm not smart enough to have an answer. Crossing your fingers, closing your eyes and hoping for the best doesn't seem like the best way to elect a president, but it all anyone has now.

Not a lot coming out of the folks who were convinced that Trump was going to wipe the floor with Biden. Trump has been self-promoting for many decades and talking his way into relevance. But once again, just like with his businesses, when it comes to performing, his best bet is to let adults do the actual work. It’s tough to change your mind, especially when doing so comes with the tacit acknowledgment that you’ve been duped. Take solace in the countless Republicans who have come to endorse Biden. Trust me, you won’t be met with “I told you so” on the other side.

You obviously have the same glasses that the trumpers wear except you have the blue ones .  Cause as much as a dumpster fire Trump was, Biden was the tire fire down the road.  They both sucked out loud.

I can't really disagree with any of this. I'll still vote for him as I feel his policies are better for me than Biden/Harris. But yeah, if/when he loses, it's be the ahole factor.

Nobody has been duped. We all knew what we were getting 4 years ago when we elected Trump president. No, he's not the smooth-talking career politician that we were used to seeing, but personally, I welcomed the change. He's done remarkably well given everything that's been thrown at him so far. I have a very difficult time understanding anyone who hunts or own guns wanting to side with anything related to to today's Democratic party, unless you plan to hunt exclusively with a bow & arrow. Biden's gone on record saying he wants to reform gun laws & is planning to make Beto O'Rourke his gun control/confiscation czar. That really is all I need to know about Sleepy Joe.

Yikes, that’s a lot of retarded people!

Just because someone voted for him does not make them part of his base..

Let me ask you this, what business does any piece of poor white trash have voting republican?
