Sweden is cool. The problem is that it's filled with Swedes and they can be a little stiff.
I have friends who bought a "castle" in the south. Castle being the original country house in the area. Three kitchens, 11 bedrooms, couple of dining rooms, too many sitting rooms to count; on 125 acres with multiple barns, etc. They have the oldest chestnut tree in Northern Europe.
They're doing the country gentlemen thing.

They have been bugging us to move there but seeing their place, I wouldn't be happy with a small cottage somewhere.
Good hunting though. This came off their land.

Heck the Safe Act made me a felon many times over along with most “ assault rifle “ owners in NY as so few complied, I, expect the same nationwide now . The AR is the most popular rifle in the U.S. this should be fun .Biden trying to regulate them under NFA is totally unworkable , which may be the plan all along , they’re already backlogged six months with just suppressors , SBR and a small number of full autos , ,adding millions upon millions of newly regulated firearms would add many years to, the process. By then The Supreme Court will have ruled in our favor .

That is a beauty of a castle...not so sure about the wall art. It does “bare” a slight resemblance to The Jerkman favorite African American Covid Icon

Nice seeing you Doc. Hope you are doing well.

Yeah, life is good. I stop in here every so often just to see what's going on. Not too many of us ol' timers still active here from what I see.

But I just had to drop in and see how many of the so-called pro gun-rights hunters there were that thought Biden was a good choice to safeguard our hunting implements.......lol.

Yup, all mine fell overboard on that  2014 canoe hunting trip I took to Lake Winnepasuckme. All I have left now is a rusty old single shot Stevens with a bent barrel. It was a sad day for sure.

Man that outfitter lost my business too for that disaster loss of all my guns.

Said bring them all we have such a variety of things to shoot and now I have none left

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-plans-immediate-flurry-of-executive-orders-to-reverse-trump-policies/ar-BB1aNiOV?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=mailsignout

The article states “He has also said he would send a bill to Congress repealing liability protections for gun manufacturers, and close background-check loopholes.”

Apparently gun control is very important to president elect Biden.  Apparently Biden is just another gun control advocate who is unwilling or unable to understand the root causes of gun violence so they continue to prohibit and restrict gun ownership

The one thing that we as New Yorkers have first hand experience with is just how far these people can get with gun banning and gun owner harassment  while still working their way around the 2nd Amendment. We are so focused on the difficulty of repealing the 2nd amendment that we have lost sight of the many advances that the gun-grabbers have already made even with the 2nd amendment firmly still in place. Well now that the socialists are in power, we can see what this all translates to on a national level.

Thank God for the appointments to the Supreme Court that President Trump made. Perhaps some of these anti gun-owner laws will begin being successfully challenged in court.

really? do you think it is a stretch that my Remington 7400 or Winchester 100 wouldn't fall under some modified "Safe Act" type legislation?

Anything can happen. I have a semi autoloader I wouldn't want that taken away. I just think it's a stretch for what you guys are thinking. Hey in 4 years if you have had any guns confiscated I'll eat crow!! lol

So we might  not have a total confiscation, but if one thinks that they won’t tax the hell out of Ammo and fire arms, your crazy. All I can say is if Biden does get elected dont blame me I voted for Trump

During my infantry days (what seems like a million years ago) I met a Vietnam vet who had earned more medals than anyone I ever saw. One evening over a brew I asked him about it. His modest answer surprised me. His unit had been inserted via huey. One of the birds had been shot down. He ran over to the huey repeatedly and removed injured GI's from the burning craft. His heroism earned him all sorts of medals including a Silver Star. He did not feel he was deserving because: 1) he had never been more afraid in his life, he feared the huey would explode killing them all. 2) He was so engrossed in his activity that he didn't even realize that he was being shot at!!!!

Similarly, it's possible to be stuck chest deep in quicksand in a swamp full of alligators and not realize the sky is falling!

If you can't see that as gun owners we are so screwed, you don't understand the situation.

I'm putting this here as well as another thread because people need to understand what is about to happen if Biden takes control.  The Senate majority is currently a battle the GOP could lose.

If they take the Senate, let me remind you what Biden, Harris, Schumer, and Pelosi will do.

They will insist Trump "stole the Supreme Court" and endeavor to pack the Court. They will also endeavor to pack the Senate by advancing statehood for Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. In a final blow to our Republic, they will attempt to abolish the Electoral College.

Of course, to ultimately succeed in their effort to overtake the Rule of Law with their statist rule of men, they must undermine the last defense of American Liberty, the Second Amendment. Biden and Harris will start chipping away at that "palladium of the Liberties of the Republic" on Day One.

The leftist's here are so punch drunk in love with Trump's loss, they can't see the disaster that is coming because of their hate.
