Things I've Come to Believe !

Please read the speech and find the chargeable crime and get back to us when you find it, you won’t.  Without a chargeable crime an impeachment would be sedition and all who vote for it should be changed and sentenced. It’s that simple, don’t let your emotions pretend to be legal arguments, as they are not.

Haha, great points. Especially the one about biden calming down the masses..Have you once seen Trump do that?

If trump gets impeached he won't be able to run for office again and loose his presidential benefits. So you think he should just get a pass for almost overthrowing a government? In the name of unity?

You could not get a whole lot closer to overthrowing a government than the capitol insurrection and not succeed.

Without twitter trump would have been a much more quiet person too.

This is great (SARCASTIC) logic: Biden should not calm down the masses because Trump didn't.  Basically, Biden should be and do....like Trump!

Trump's political career is over, he does not have enough supporters to ever win another election.  No one should get a pass.  If he incited the Capitol incident that is a crime for the legal system, not vindictive politics.  He still gets legal due process no matter how much he is hated.

OMG, a bunch of UNARMED disorganized flag and Viking hat wearing sycophants attack the Capitol with no plan and no terms/demands; and you think "you could not get a whole lot closer to overthrowing the government"!  Laughable ridiculous hyperbole.  They were stopped without needing to call in the military and only ONE shot fired.

Without Twitter Trump would have been Trump on a different social media platform.

For the record, I am not defending Trump's behavior and actions.

So your condoning Bidens response to not trying to calm down the masses ?

I thought that was the Presidential thing to do , specially for an elder statesman, like Biden ????

Then your telling us that Trump was trying to overthrow the Gov't ?

Come on Man !!!!!

You would think Trump would've tried to take over the Gov't while he first came in office or during his presidency, not the last two weeks ?

Being Trump lost money and donated all of his presidential salary to charity during his presidency, the only one losing, is the charity.

Agreed, now is the time for Biden to put his money where his mouth is and demonstrate  some leadership And unity . If he truly wants to unite the country as he claims , do it now . Call off the Pelosi mob and let’s move on!!

A work colleague sent me a link to the Italian "document" proof.  It appeared to be a cellphone photo of a piece of paper, partially in English and partially in Italian, with no letterhead, no notarization, and a single signature of unknown authenticity.  Any child today using their skills with Word could create a more realistic looking official document.

My right leaning friends, if and when you can,  move to a red state. You’ll save thousands ,perhaps tens of thousands , with no state tax, and a property tax in many cases of around one thousand .

Youll be among people of similar beliefs, and the libs left here will be left with even more burdensome taxes and regulations.

I guess common sense doesn't apply when viewing political issues, I believe Trump caused the capitol riot about as much as I believe Clinton ran a child pedophile ring out of pizza shop...

Hint to some, If someone tells you to jump off a bridge, ask a friend with some common sense if that's prudent because I'm not so sure some could make the safe decision themselves.....

Again, it's someone else's fault... we need to get back to if one makes a piss poor decision in life it's called a CONSEQUENCE....

When a prior general of this country who is obviously connected politically in many ways says thing like that i would think he knows his stuff. Its so naive to think other wise. It all started with the china virus...make people scared and reliant on the government

That “riot” was allowed to happen by our own politicians.

How was it exactly "allow" or even condone in any fashion?

If one is that easily swayed by what any politician says I have some ocean front property for sale in Arizona.....

Some idiots MADE personal choices to break the law; pretty simple concept....

ps: Don't jump off the bridge it's a poor idea !!!!

I would not say it was allowed but requests for National  Guard before the protest where denied do to optics and no real mesures where set up to stop the bad actors. Like the 7 foot fence being set up the day after and the national guard presence.

First that the country will be more divided in the next four years, than the last four years, both sides have deep seeded beliefs and motivations. Some of these motivation are very self serving in many ways. That "career politicians" are like crap filled diapers and should be changed; I believe strict term limits against life long careers for political self to end corruption. If, by then, you and your family hasn't landed some foreign job or speaking engagements for thousands to one's "foundation"

That Trump will be blamed by the new administration for every "ill of the country"; with but a few days left the left attempt to oust him, yet again. I believe the swamp is deeper than any great lake; any possible corrective action would need to be swift and unilateral.

That the news is simply no longer the news; every story has a motivation for political reasons in some fashion. It has come to the point that any person looking for factual information could simply not use any news source as factual. New worthy events are not up to the public to decide; the media either doesn't cover the events or cover them with clear bias.

I sadly, believe were all in for a rough four years, it was just a short four years ago that Trump was going to ignite WW3; crash the economy and Hollywood types were outspoken and moving to Canada. Guess, none of those happened.

The political world is sad and sickening and our founding fathers would be sickened by it all...

Best wishes...

Not too far from you, although blaming the prior admin for the negatives is a tale as old as time for both parties. The narrative of course this time is that "covid ruined everything for Joe", which of course isn't a narrative that trump could use for some reason.

I will add this. We should all be rooting for the next admin to succeed, even if it doesn't align with your views. Rooting for them to fail, is rooting for America to fail. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

I also refer to my opening statement that ALL news agencies have bias in reporting, either through editing snippets, ignoring or quotes taken out of intended context...

I take little credence in the news agencies reporting....face it big business and politics are way out of control and nothing Biden or any politician are going to do will sooth the masses any time soon...

Belo, much agreed, I do not want to witness our country flounder and suffer. I have been around long enough to realize the socialism, or democratic socialism won't work. The rights of many get trampled for the "good of many"'

I am ashamed at the actions of many politicians, the public's response or lack of response to those actions that are allowed and condoned on both sides...

Shameful...

Agree, America needs to prevail.  Food for thought on this.  America goes around the world promoting democracy; the idea and virtues of it.  However, our recent history (D&R terms) are example of the worst of it.  What lesser country in the world would want to adopt  democracy when they witness the ridiculous political theatrics and corruption our politicians shamelessly engage in?  Other countries look to America as a model for prosperity, but not an honest or efficient government.  While other forms of government are also not honest, they are more efficient because they put country first, not political party.
