Had a fun morning on Honeoye today. It started out windy with 2-3 footers on the west side and fishing was slow. Gave me time to get used to how the boat handles in wind and chop, and how the trolling motor does with wind. Right around 10 the wind died and the lake became glass. I did A bunch more tooling around before I got Into some largemouth shortly before it was time to head home. Ended up with 4 total, the biggest one pictured weighed 3 1/4. The boat looked amazing once the sun came out. She shines like a new penny! Caught me a crankbait to boot!

Yep, everything worked! Supposedly they said it was a circuit breaker issue? Motor Idles normal now too after the idle air control valve was changed.

I've been making this drive for 30 years and finally stopped and fished the Beaverkill. Thanks to @crappyice for the 411! My next spot was the west branch with some intel from @Chef but it was blown out. Awesome.  Too rough for me today unless you launched on the west end.  Wind let up after noon though.  Was only 7 trailers at Marion manir this morn when I went by after turkey hunting.  That's unheard of on opening day. 

Nice haul.  And the boat is off to a running start!

Yea I launched from Oneida shores at 9, it was chilly to start but warmed up nice. I'll be back out again in the AM. These fish had so many perch in them it was crazy, one had a 6" perch in it too.

I am aiming for that also. Hopefully, it gets a little warmer and the rain and wind hold off.
