WNYBuckHunter
Had a fun morning on Honeoye today. It started out windy with 2-3 footers on the west side and fishing was slow. Gave me time to get used to how the boat handles in wind and chop, and how the trolling motor does with wind. Right around 10 the wind died and the lake became glass. I did A bunch more tooling around before I got Into some largemouth shortly before it was time to head home. Ended up with 4 total, the biggest one pictured weighed 3 1/4. The boat looked amazing once the sun came out. She shines like a new penny! Caught me a crankbait to boot!

The_Real_TCIII
I've been making this drive for 30 years and finally stopped and fished the Beaverkill. Thanks to @crappyice for the 411! My next spot was the west branch with some intel from @Chef but it was blown out. The Susquehanna, Chemung, and Cohocton all looked like the Amazon, CNY must have had one hell of a storm last night Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Nytracker
We got over 3 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. Blown out is an understatement... won't be fishing for a week on the streams here in the southern tier.

Too rough for me today unless you launched on the west end. Wind let up after noon though. Was only 7 trailers at Marion manir this morn when I went by after turkey hunting. That's unheard of on opening day. Nice haul. And the boat is off to a running start!

Yea I launched from Oneida shores at 9, it was chilly to start but warmed up nice. I'll be back out again in the AM. These fish had so many perch in them it was crazy, one had a 6" perch in it too.
