chrisw
Nice ! Hope they are hitting better. Me and Corey and his son are hitting the water at 5:30 in the morn! I hope so too! They weren't fast and furious but a few were eating. Had to cover some water today. Good luck! crappyice
Beaverkill Dark caddis pulled him from some fast-ish water.Had a bead head dropped off the caddis - missed one….good call @The_Real_TCIII Different spot on Beaverkill…2 9” stockies hit a sulphur at dark (no pics)And then this beauty at DARK. I threw everything at him earlier and he wanted nothing to do with anything. After dark I casted to where I knew he was steady feeding from earlier and saw an extra ripple where I thought my fly should be and he was on.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

wolc123
I hit the local stream (Upper Niagara river) and caught a 11-3/4", (2) 14", (2) 16", and this 19", between 7:00 and 9:30 am. The little one is still swimming, and the rest are in fish heaven now (our food supply). I forgot the landing net, but they were a bit lethargic in the 63 degree water, and I didn't loose any trying to land. I also didn't loose any jigs, or pay for a boat launch, so it was cheaper than buying fish at the grocery store. Not a bad opening day

crappyice
You ever look at a spot and even if they aren’t rising you know they are there? That’s the case for this guy.( and yes, I know my net has a few holes!)One last spot on the Beaverkill before baseball…Above the red mark this beauty chased an Ausable Wulf, took three leaps and flew downstream to where I ended up landing himSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
