Got out on Oneida for a few hours today, popped one hole and never moved. 25 perch and 2 eyes, 7 short eyes also. Got nasty this afternoon so I left them biting!IMG_20210128_155610467.jpg

Nice catch Chris!  Heard they've been hitting them pretty well. Seems like lots of big perch this year when you find them.  Heard a wheeler went thru last weekend think some guys were pushing it a bit.  Should be getting pretty solid now and esp next few days.

Fished a local pond with my son last night. Caught more gills than we could count and came across a couple beauty perch. Also tried to long arm a gill for a pic.... Let me know your thoughts. 636a5aeca15c77c21fca3ff3fe1eb0f4.jpg8ab45e8f001bf5f44afd7044fc84d617.jpgb0a7afb6a22f57a375c79fe6476cde80.jpg

Pro tip - need to angle camera so that your hands arent in it for the gill.  It would look like a 7lber!  lol

Nice perches!   When they get to 24" let me know and then i will consider going on the ice!

Looks like a great day out buddy.  I bet it was fun.

Woah!  That bad boy is twice the width of your head.  It's got to be at least 14"!

Family event today. We all had our fix of gills and my daughter caught a nice bass. Selfishly, I love days like today !!669ff1b8002b7115a57b2fa2d36169c8.jpg&key=2792f4c8dfb387c5d32e196d68e2ec48144812ce30ad218563f2603062208aed01f3227e205371edf3cb56f7000cdccf.jpg&key=eec616f5ca7ff09739b7ca5f4a2f2b0c45fa4f58ce134098aae0431fe9746758a8f250496af8840ae3c80421fbe6e5ab.jpg&key=a25684d18368ad52684ecc46274fdd5a57936394b13108385fb51b6d36b9164ff1925290770aa9fc4d55e97057a35f4a.jpg&key=6c3c2371920e6a7f0be0437aeb4d4d25457db3b80befa5c854230aeca8330ff077ce4de0ab66f0730aa784a1216e3105.jpg&key=bb29b02f90c0484189df58f6b69dc6bc38fe9bf79551b12be80997633932a0fef4db8c9eafc96c43a9083c79fa9d12e0.jpg&key=1476892db32c05cf7d6ff78eb68e3f5223ad984a5ff9f3aed148b98267afee80

Me and my crew went out for our first time yesterday. Started at Thompson's Lake for the morning and finished at Collins park in Scotia. We didn't have any action. But people around us did land some nice bass at both spots. The boys had a great day,and I think we found a new hobby!! At Thompson's I met a nice gentleman who gave me an old 6" auger!!! It was given to him years ago and he doesn't need it anymore. We were thrilled, beats the shovel handle I brought to crack open an old hole. Can't wait to catch something!!
