Beautiful morning on Hemlock.  Only saw 2 other boats.  Caught a bunch a bass and ended up taking home 15 big bluegills, some rock bass and a whopper perch.  The lake was as low as Iv ever seen it, but luckily no issues launching.

Not exactly live but we had a great day yesterday on Oneida lake. It was actually cool on the water and overcast. Three person limit in about 4 1/2 hrs. We all had fun; especially my daughter who hasn't fished in quite some time.

Yep...  Planers off each side and lead line off the back. Most were caught in about 25-30 feet of water.

Ditto here.  Its def not like last season. A guy at the launch that fishes there everyday and i don't mean he fishes a lot, he fishes everyday, was talking with him and he said its just been a grind.

2 other guys in walleye setup Lund's came over and asked if I was on fish cause they can't seem to get on them.  One guy said he fished all afternoon into dark and got one keeper.

They seem to be filled with little 1" minnows.  At least the ones I've been getting.  Hard to match that hatch.

No big groups of boats anywhere , it's been tougher this year for sure.  Banged out a limit on Friday, Sat only netted one and lost 2 at the boat. But not like last year when often done by 9am with a boat limit whether it's me or a couple of guys.

That bottom perch looks like the catch of the day, but those walleyes are perfect eating size.  The big ones I get by accident while bass fishing on Erie, are no good for eating even if vacuum sealed, after they have been frozen.

I marked a lot of baitfish balls yesterday, all over. I couldn't get bit by anything in less than 30' of water, literally nothing. Even the eyes I did get were very strange bites, they'd tick it once really light, then nothing. You'd give it a second to see if they came back and nothing, pick the rod up to check bait and it's just dead weight, no head shaking. It's like they were eating it then just swimming at the same speed and direction as the boat. Weird. I did awesome this year up until the last two trips, now I can't seem to pick up that limit. I probably should've went after the weed walleyes up shallow.

chrisw, care to divulge what your tactics are at cayuga? no prob if you dont. fished there four days last week (annual trip). we got quite a few lakers and a couple rainbows and landlocks, but had to pick at them. a little slower than usual for us this time of year.

I've been trolling leadcore in 35-70' of water. Spoons, flatfish and stickbaits at 2 mph. I'll stagger the leadcore also, one at 2-3 colors, one at 5 colors, one at 7 etc. If I mark a pile of fish I'll mark them on the graph and go back and jig them.
