I've seen a few rubs in the sand below that big south hill. I don't go down that way to often because the sand burrs tear my terrier up, but I know there's a few that run down that way.

Good for you getting out. I took monday off  so I could go up to my camp sunday through monday, for some outdoor work and snowshoeing. We sure had snow! The problem was the powder was about 30 inches deep, and even with my snow shoes on I sank in up to my knees. If I had my four foot long pickerels I may have been ok, but it was a no go for getting off trail at all or getting the work done I wanted. I still was able to get out on the roads (snowmobile trail now) and relax with a good book inside.
