Bought my first bought

I've been looking to purchase my first boat for over 2 months now but used boats have been sellig in under an hr after they've been posted on websites.

I picked up a 2000 Sea Ray 180. I'm going to check out a few different boat slips tomorrow.

I have been looking since January. Basically have given up for now.....Covid has driven the boat market outta control. New boats 19-21'......do not exist on a showroom floor and used boats are selling on average 3-5 more than pre covid.
Had a 21' Larson lined up to look at on Keuka the first week of April and the guy must have gotten so many calls he re posted his ad on Craigslist and upped the price 3000.00. Then he emailed me and said...sorry first person to email bought sight unseen. I don't care how good a boat looks or runs with muffs. I would never drop 15,000 without running it in a lake under load.

Hope your luck is better than mine! I'm not sure where you're looking to slip it but options on Oneida are almost non existent right now with most places having waiting lists. Everything boats is crazy right now!

It's crazy how fast used boats are selling. I was checking Facebook marketplace and local dealers websites almost all day long and almost every time I looked a boat and called I would hear sorry some bone bought it without looking at it of your 5th in line to see the boat.

I got a hold on of this guy 41 minutes after he posted the boat and I was 4th in line and the guy want showing the boat for a week. Luckily 2 other guys found a boat during that time and the one guy ahead of me turned it down because he didn't think his wife would like the color of the interior carpet lol.

Will do when the time comes. But little info, it's a older tyee with a 90hp evinrude, I'll dig up some pics when I can. It's been hunted and fished and is camo lol.
