A bad cop is a bad cop.   A bad rioter is a bad rioter.   They should all be held accountable.   Neither race nor politics defines what or who is right and wrong.   The fact that some people seem to only view events through these polarizing lenses is the real problem.

This is exactly what I wanted to say, but couldn't find the words.

Half a billion dollars and a police officer killed. Hardly a drop.

of course, what wasn't widely reported is that the officer died of strokes. The examiner stated that the riots probably played a factor, but it will be nearly impossible for anyone or any group to tried for murder.

I know facts hurt narratives, but they're important none the less.

I could have gone either way on this verdict. On a second note for those saying there would be rioting no matter what the verdict. WHAT HAPPENED? I had an all night riots on TV planned? Popcorn, beer, the works?

Too cold for the hood rats.

The recent justified shooting of the 16 yo girl will have riots .

Democrats in Congress are already sounding there b.s. about this incident and say "the police acted to quickly". Well, the teen being attacked would have been severely injured or killed if the officer didn't shoot. The attacker was swinging the large knife to bury it into the body of the victim. And also, the Mayor of D.C. has asked for 100's of Unarmed National Guardsmen to help Metro Police if needed as reports of coming violence and rioting. They are just going to be sitting ducks. The Guardsman are outraged that all they will have is a flashlight and a vest on. Just a few days ago the Guard was shot at in Minnesota.  One Guardsman said "We are nothing more than Boy Scouts in reflective vests"

Absolutely ridiculous, 100 percent good shoot. That cop saved that girls life. What are these savages protesting, he saved one of their peoples lives.

Because in there culture the cops are like enemy army to them . Its sad and instead of teaching them right from wrong many in gov just go along with the big lie about institutional racism . Then when you ask for proof they  go blank because its all based  on fantasy.

I agree they are all getting out ASAP over this nonsense that dirt bag has been made into a hero and he has been nothing but bad his whole life if it wasn’t a white cop would have been no big deal

I agree that the focus has been placed on race more then fixing the actual problem of police being not properly trained to deal with the situation . The media is trying to make us think this guy was killed because of his skin color ,it makes me sick for these vultures (media) to feast on a news story like this and change the narrative.

Here's a novel idea....don't try to use counterfeit money, don't resist when confronted by the police, especially if you know you are in the wrong, don't use fentanyl, and you probably won't be put in a situation like this.

Didn't we see a case similar to this 25 years ago in LA, when a man that was obviously guilty walked because "the people" decided they didn't want another riot?

A police officer continues to kneel on a man's neck (who he knew) even though he knew he was being filmed. The man that dies was already on his way to dying from a fentanyl overdose. The officer whose career & freedom is on the line refuses to even try pleading his case? The videos I saw had a gap from the time Floyd was originally confronted until the time he had a knee on his neck. This case doesn't pass the smell test.

Exactly. And what was the first thing that cop did when the guilty verdict came out? Stood and put his hands behind his back!  Just think where we would be if all the other so called Black Victims would have done the same.

you have to cut cops a break they have to deal with the  low life's of society everyday and yea every once in while one snaps goes  to far like this guy did but that guy was a criminal with a rap sheet longer then your arm . Its not like he was not breaking the law that day .

He was a dangerous criminal  resisting arrest using counterfeit money and that was driving on drugs he could have killed someone that day if the cops did not show up.

This insane defund the cops crap not helpful to anyone .

Yes but in Chauvins case he had like 18 or 19 filed complaints on him.. He was a bad cop! Period.

You have to look into those because , cops   get those complaints all the time  most are just criminals trying to sue the city .

Just want to know how many came from people that did not have a record .  Some of them  self harm themselves when getting arrested to sue  that is another thing media never talks about  that cops have to deal with .  That cop new all the tricks and did not want to take any chances But he went to far  messed up and the guy dropped dead , its sad but not the same has murder   hard time seems over the top for that when other guys that kill on purpose get out in a few years . There is no proof that shows  that cop got up that day to kill someone . A  Few years is all he should have gotten not life .
