Litter bugs - duck hunters

I was out canoeing and fishing on a feeder stream to the St.Lawrence River on Sunday (Cole’s Creek)...having a great time until I came across a duck blind (made of branches) on a little peninsula with empty shotgun shells and other garbage spread about everywhere!  Scum bag lazy slobs!!!  Such a shame....gives hunters a bad name. Spent the rest of my valuable fishing time picking up someone else’s crap.

I do the same thing on the state land that I hunt. Really fry's me that people continue to be so reckless and can't have the common decency to pick up their own messes. Seems to be the way of the world today just like throwing empty McDonalds bags, etc. out the window along the roads.

Hate it every time I see it.

...For the record, I’m not at all stereotyping duck hunters...I like to think that most hunters are somewhat responsible and stuarts of the woods.  (looking back at the Picts I posted, the Picts don’t come close to accurately depicting the amount of trash and empty shells).

I think everyone knows it's just a smaller portion that are slobs. Thanks for picking up afte the lazy pigs.

You want to see trash, go hiking on state trails. The people are disgusting. And I hike way more then hunt and see both sides.

Shame on anyone leaving a mess like that behind. More so a "hunter".....who should absolutely know better.

I will probably never go to that spot dinorocks. But I want to thank you for cleaning it up for me sir. You are a true stewart of the wild places.
