Heads are too close. Just me and just saying some critical advice is good at times. Now tell me to FO....lol The room is only 8’ wide. My French bulldog is cramped in here. I thought for sure I’d be able to get more heads up here. Gonna max out at like 8-9. The two you have are probably it lol. The wall opposite the turkey is bare due to me needing to be on camera for work. The one corner mount shows on cam just barely and I’ve had some people react positive and petrified. Corporate life. I’m likely going to find a way to display the piebald hide on a rack of some sort there that I can move out of the way.

phade
Probably my last update. Room is done, it’s a bit of mess as hunting gear is a bit strewn about - and I’m OK with that in season lol - but we did add on the two wall peds from 2020. I was hoping to do a barrel mount with the three 2020 bucks but I just don’t have room in there. Mostly because I need one bare wall as the background for work video meetings. I’ll add a beverage cooler and probably add in some of my euro mounts, and a shed rope off the desk pipes to hold sheds I’ve collected. Outside that it is time to enjoy it and hopefully be forced to swap out a mount with a new 2021 deer. Lord willing. TV/Media, place to watch ball games, prep for hunting, etc. I'm sure you'll fill the wall up this season!
UpStateRedNeck
My basement/office/cave is 90% nerd right now, waiting in the cabin to go full hunting theme. I'd say 2 years til build?

A cabin would be cool for sure - Although with time spent there, not sure I'd have my mounts at a cabin if I wasn't there enough to ward off burglaries, bugs, etc. I'd be nervous leaving them! LOL. I don't get enough of the cabin/camp experience nowadays other than travel hunting, which is different IMO. Most of my early hunting days were cabin/camp based. I am pretty sure I slept better there at camp than any other time in my life. I am sure you'll have a blast building it too.
