Acton Pistol

Recommended Posts

Shot in an action pistol shoot yesterday. Tons of fun. Had reactive steel, pop up and swinging targets, and static cardboard silhouettes. Had a handful of different stages. Didnt do bad at all but need to get used to them requiring muzzle level vs down especially when on the move. Wish I had more pictures.

Sounds like loads of fun but with the cost of ammo, I can only dream about it.
Went through about 75 rounds of 9mm. Lots of double tap body targets, had a solo run at a dueling tree, and rack of varying size steel gongs. Fewer participants this week so it met more scenarios for those that were there as we finished them faster. Fortunately I'm burning $0.20 per rnd ammo I've acquired way before this craziness.

Nice , sure would be fun. What pistol are you using ?
Weird photo quirks from phone and using tapatalk with it....
Sig Sauer P226 Elite Scorpion. It has some "bells and whistles" but a crisp light trigger in single action with a short reset. First shots were close and to body so the first stiffer and longer DA pull was easy to deal with.Screenshot_20210527-223228_Gallery.jpg

This week we started deducting time for shots outside center ring for body and head shots as well as if you hit the hostage silhouette. Finished 3rd out 10 but a handful of fliers cost me some time. I'd you haven't tried this type of competition I strongly encourage it if you can live with burning up the ammo. Ridiculous amounts of fun.20210615_192150.thumb.jpg.dcabccd4eb1fd8c11c60402c67770903.jpg20210615_192144.thumb.jpg.07f8c61ad6c693dc2d3573275634bd0b.jpg20210615_191905.thumb.jpg.c03a8428ab306732dc6e1bf80ad745f5.jpg
