Ruger Mini 14 Stainless Ranch

Recommended Posts

My father bought this rifle new in 2001. It has never been fired, and was always kept in its original box until that was destroyed in a move. The rifle is mint. Not a mark on it. The original magazine was separated from the rifle and has a couple of small surface rust marks on it, but they can be cleaned up or just replace the Mag if you are worried about it. I have no interest in it, using sale to fund something else rather than continue to consume space in my safe.

$1500 obo buyer pays transfer. In person sale preferred. I am in Monroe County.

I've always liked the Mini's from Ruger and this one looks great. Good luck with the sale!

Yeah it’s mint, and hard to find in this condition. They discontinued this series of ranch rifles in 04 IIRC. I’ve seen only 1 other for sale in the same condition. I really Wish the box hadn’t gotten ruined.

I had the mini 14 XGI I got from someone who was hurting for money. It was 308 caliber. Sweet little set up. Had both wooden and synthetic collapsible stock. Non NY compliant so I got rid of it. Didnt want the hassle. Sent it to my cousin in ohio for 650 to add to his collection.

If I didn't have so many projects going on at the farm, and home, at this time, I'd be making another road trip to Rochester!

Sweet, Sweet rifle, are those Mini 14 ranch's. Would compliment an AR very nicely! GLWS

Ruger has had a few variants over the years . I've got the big brother in the mini 30. The 580 series are the most desirable as that is when they fixed accuracy issues . Bill Ruger nailed it with his design . Guess he can thank Kalichnivov a little .

I've seen prices on both ends of the spectrum. Its a sellers market still .

I've seen the owners manual go for 50 bucks .

Nice gun good luck with the sale

I had the original min 14, which I picked up for about 240.. when Service Merchandise closed, way back when. It truly handled like a pistol, was fun, ammo back then was cheaper than rimfire (almost). I just never had a real purpose for it. Traded it for a .44 mag. Sure wish I had it back, but then I still wouldnt have a use for it.
