Mid September 23.5lb king salmon reproduction I caught from lake Ontario last year. This is the 5th fish I've painted and I think each one is better than the last. The lighting in my living room sucks. Looks way better outside. Pretty happy with it though b9f9bb16198867c9ae7626b85c9f2898.jpgaa5ee0c311ff24ca033a60f5dc0957cd.jpg

I tried to catch a decent salmon on my Maine ice fishing trip last March, but only caught mediocre sized.

What did that king weigh? How long of a fight? It looks fantastic.

23.5 pounds on 400 copper line. Felt like a half hour but was probably 10 minutes or so. My arms were throbbing after that one! Going back on Wednesday. Stoked!
