Anyone seeing bucks this year, despite EHD?

I had 2 8-pointers on my property several weeks ago, haven't seen anything since then. I've been hearing a lot of bucks being found dead from EHD.

Haven’t see any in over a month,, Fingerlakes region

Fortunately, I'm seeing tons of bucks. No reported cases of EHD in my area.

Seeing a lot of movement between the days of rain here

I've seen many decent bucks around.

As per usual, I'll see more activity as the hunting seasons open and more humans enter the woods to disrupt the normal activity of the deer.

Unfortunately, most smart bucks will tend to go nocturnal after that happens.

Most of the bruisers will be seen only at night on trail cams.

Patterns change, but deer do not go nocturnal.  Will still move during the day.

There is a big, long tined 6 point I've been seeing around here, that would be an 8 point if it had brow tines, which is doesn't.  Still a shooter if he gives a hunter a chance.

I’m seeing bucks on cam in 3N but literally no does for the past 4-5 weeks

I'm sorry, I should've clarified my post in saying that the deer change their pattern to a more nocturnal activity.

Thank you for pointing that out.

In heavily pressured areas, they will only move during the day, if pushed to do so.

Otherwise they will feed and move at night, hence my saying they go nocturnal.
