Cargo Ship Crisis/ Backup on Both Coasts..

The driver shortage along with Calf. Not allowing trucks older then 2011 to be registered in the state and now their law effectively banning owner operators is just compounding things .

Add the increased turn around time due to the wait to be unloaded , fuel costs tripling shipping fees and overall lack of goods being produced in some countries.

Sadly, as a nation of consumers, I do not believe America could produce all that we consume.

BTW, alot of  American jobs are created by those ports.

There are also a lot of components on those ships that are used to build things in the USA.

Is everyone in agreement that we should be improving this type of infrastructure ?

It was working fine til the guy running california put more effort into gender neutral department stores then he did alleviating the cargo ships backing up outside the world's largest ports.

Insight of the day.

Do you read what you type sometimes?

Or think before doing it?

Maybe you can get a job at fox News with those kind of talents.

Are you aware of what the governor did to create this problem or do you need CNN to crush it up on a spoon with some water and sugar and feed it to you? Also while the ships continue to back up he was spending time passing measures to remove gender titles from department stores . Wake up mike

No. Myself, knowing nothing about the business,  nor politicians should not attempt any type of improvements.

I liked you better when your filter was working.

That is one thing Trump accomplished, people are a lot more in your face with their opinions now.

Too bad really,i liked it better when we were more civil.

Nothing on those ships says made in the USA FYI

That’s because we don’t make things here any more… the average “working class” American thinks that kind of work is beneath them

Propane shortage driving prices skyward, ditto  Nat gas  , ammo of course , cars if you can find one pricey , Intel CEO says chip shortage to last at least until 2023 , diapers in some areas scarce and going up in price , co2 shortage will effect many things . Hospitals short on many needed drugs , law enforcement are having fleet orders cancelled , some long term food companies sold out , one shut down for three months to catch up ,  everyday the list grows .

I am honestly curious as to what you think  the Biden admin has done to cause this.

Was there some legislation or executive order that was signed by him to cause these delays ? It seems to me its a private industry problem, not a government one.

Do you honestly think Newsom came up with restrictions on the vehicles allowed to operate inside the state of california all on his own? Or do you think the people pushing the clean energy scam might have had something to do with it? Have you also not heard they cut the production of domestic fuel sources? Why do you think fuel prices are a dollar twenty five higher then last year?  What's the inflation rate up to?  Inflation is at an all time high. No business is going to invest right now knowing the incredible tax hike that is looming ,Ford motor company reassigned  900 million dollars they had allocated for ohio assembly when biden won. It all went to Mexico. That's one example .

Prolonging Excessively generous unemployment benefits from COVID started it all and has exacerbated it; that’s his (well , more his administrations cuz he’s Really  not in charge of anything lol) Call . Just filled up my truck - $65 . I’m worried cuz the leadership currently occupying the White House clearly does not have a clue . I wonder sometimes if they’re actively trying to ruin us to build a “ Different “ America ?

Honestly, Biden doesn't care, as he would've done something about it weeks ago.

Maybe he can show the truckers how its done, Since he claimed to be a truck driver, or rode in a truck once, or played with a truck once.

Come on Man !

They'll do anything to distract Americans from seeing how much of a total sham of a president he is.

But don't worry, somehow this will be blamed on Trump or the single capitol riot,  parents, fox news, white supremacists or  news max.

I'm surprised we haven't been told that since the ice caps are melting at an ever alarming rate, the pacific ocean's water level has risen so high that the ports are under water !!!

Part of the famed infrastructure bill is to break ground on the Carson city Nevada seaport !
