Liquid Manure on Ag Fields

Is it true that once farmers spray liquid manure on ag fields as fertilizer, the deer stop feeding there? The adjoining property just cut the corn 2 days ago and I was happy to see all the corn left on the ground. I walked in today and noticed they recently sprayed the field with liquid manure. I’ve hear the deer will no longer feed in the field once this happens and I certainly can’t blame them. True?

Had it happen last year and the deer were gone.....didn't hunt the property enough to tell when they came back. But it was sprayed right before Halloween and killed me seeing any deer being harassed in that open field for the next 10 days of prime seeking phase.

I’ve encountered this several times over the years and my experience has been that a moderate rain falls and the deer are right back in these fields.

Ok, cool! I’ll just consider it cover scent until we get that good rain! LOL
