Getting pics every day and night,,but zilch today

Not one single deer,,, sat in my blind from 6 to 1:30

Back from 3 till dark ,,, nada

Heard a fair amount of shooting …

Not sure what to do tomorrow

In the same boat. Sat from 5:40 to 10 on state land and then walked a mile further in and walked/sat until 3 pm. No deer, no hunters and almost no sign. It's early, we have time. Don't get discouraged.

Just get back out again. Things change during rifle. Deer get moved and you never know what's going to pop up in the first week

I think it was the full moon last night. There was no deer spotted and very few shots around us. Didn't seem like opening day

I heard lots of shots .. just nine from my gun

looks clear again tonight 

got a pic of a buck tonight at about 7 pm passing my ground blind
