We eat an early dinner and I rarely snack after dinner.....the thing I need to stop doing is pounding snacks when I get home from work.......it's like I walk in the house and feel the need to strap on the feed bag.

Come home and instead of eating have a glass of water. It tricks your body just enough that you won't have the craving for snacks.

Those are some pretty attractive looking dishes that you have been posting here. I do have one question though......What is quinoa. it looks like a form of rice....but not quite.

It is a grain that is very high in protein. It’s very good for you and filling. Low glycemic index.

Did you make the soup?

I did yes… took some chicken broth I made the other day.

Steamed a few carrots and a sweet potato in the microwave. Then blended them into the broth. Salt pepper, garlic a little cumin and a dash of hot sauce

It's fiber, I think of it as round rice that pops like popcorn

I easily drink a gallon of water a day. I have my whole life

Nice job Chef!! im into week 6 of workouts. Definitely feeling better.
The eating is the hardest part for me. I have my kids half the time and always cook good meals for them and us but its harder to do when its just you. Lots of ham and eggs to get my protein!

I do a ton Of running around after teaching each day. On the weekends, I try to make a few different meals that make for good grab and go meals so I avoid the fast food quick stops. Could work for a person cooking for 1 if you don’t easily tire from the same meal every day for a few days.
Pot of chili, sausage and sweet potato breakfast casserole, venison meatloaf to bake a few…all easily stuffed in some Tupperware and as good at room temp if a microwave ain’t handy.

Chef ,you look talented .Now that’s the last nice thing I’ll say about you lol

Thanks man, I used to be a actual chef… now it’s just for fun. I find it very hard and tedious to cook in a home kitchen VS a commercial one.

How did you like the pasta? I’ve thought about buying it for a healthier option but the price scares me.

The chick pea stuff tastes like garbanzo but the texture isn’t bad
