blackbeltbill
For about 1 week now, the Robins have been actively Feeding and seemingly staying put. Plenty of Robins foraging and kicking up leaves around the Creek. Kicking the Leaves out just like a Turkey. They are foraging all around the edges of Houses where plenty of Leaves are. Under Tables,etc- any areas without Snow and plenty of Leaves. Any Trees with any type of Berry or seeds is getting bombarded. I saw this years ago during late January at Stewart. A good 100 Robin's around the Small Streams where they can find food. I Love Robins.A few good pics to follow.

Robhuntandfish
i put a birdfeeder out about a week and a half ago. Cause im over 50 and i believe its some sort of requirement at that age. But havent seen a bird on it yet. Im offended and am writing a letter to the Audubon Society! 3
ncountry
Funny , this morning is the 1st day that I noticed any Robin's around. There must have been at least a dozen hanging around the overflow of my artesian well. Not sure what they are doing. Probably trying to stay warm. There is 2 feet of snow and it was -30 a day or 2 ago. Far from spring.

A good 50 or more Robins are currently hanging around the Creek. They were not here last year at this time. Major Snowstorm coming tomorrow in Southeastern,NY. See how they fair with 6 to 12" on the way.

Put it further away from the house and if possible hanging near multiple trees, bushes. Scattering some seed on the ground may help too. Try adding a suet feeder.
