He caught it while fishing off the wall at Sylvan Beach.

Sgt. Brian Shapiro, a Fort Drum soldier recently home from a tour in Afghanistan, caught at released this large sturgeon recently while fishing on Oneida Lake.

He caught it off the wall at Sylvan Beach. It was about 4 feet long and weighed nearly 50 pounds.
