Dead spot's

Hey all trying to fix up back yard,I have dead spot's of grass where my dog has peed.Wondering how to repair them?If I pee on the grass it grow's greener but when my dog go's it kill's it why?Thank's for the help.

The brown spots are caused by the high levels of nitrogen in their pee. As far as i know, there are no cures but a few things may help. (none are very practical either, sorry)If you are fertilizing your lawn, try using a low or no Nitrogen mix. Saturate the area he peed with water after he does his thing. (not likely). Or try the suppliments that you can add to his diet. (not sure if these work). I just find myself buying some sod and cutting out the bad spots when it gets annoying or if were having a summer get together.

Must be a male dog, happens to my grass too.
