Not meaning to throw cold water on this post, however, I received this same exact picture via text on March 24th, stating this buck was found along the banks of the Cattaraugus Creek in Springville, New York.
I trusted the source and sent the pic on to a few of my friends, one friend sent me back the message that he received that very same photo a week prior.
It seems this buck has been around.
