Class of 64: The mensroom door had a very worn closure mechanism and sometimes didn't open when turning its door knob. I had a binge session on one particular night and quickly needed to relieve myself. After fumbling with the door knob I lost my patience and temper. In my hazed stupor I punched the door and split it down its middle along its length. After relieving myself, I was asked to return the next day when sober. I don't remember the owners name. He sat me down at the bar, put a beer in front of me, and said "that's quite a punch you have". He was very understanding about the circumstances and did not charge me for a door saying it needed replacing anyway. A real cool guy.
