  3. Did I read that right a DEC oficer admit to cougers being a problem ? "Noting some things simply cannot be changed, (ECO) Pierce asked the audience to be realistic. “What I’d really like to hear from you is your perspectives, and any documentation you have to make your point would be desirable.” He cautioned, “We all know the habitat is shrinking, but we are not here to cut down the forest preserve. That’s not going to happen. “We all know coyotes and cougars are a problem."

  9. The daughter of very good friend, who is going to St. John Fisher College is participatinging in the Teddi Dance at Camp Good Times for children with cancer. If you have a child with cancer in your life, you know this place is run by angels. Any donation big or small will help. Here is a link to Mary's page and a paragraph on the history of Camp Good Days. I told her she set her goal way to low, i would love to see her go way past the $100 feel free to give it a bump after you read it CAMP GOOD DAYS AND SPECIAL TIMES, INC. In 1979, Elizabeth "Teddi" Mervis was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at the age of nine. Her father, Gary Mervis, traveled across the country to major medical centers seeking the best possible treatment for his daughter. He returned home without the answers he had been looking for and realized that it was not the craniotomy, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy that was causing Teddi the most pain, but it was the loneliness of being the only child in her school and neighborhood dealing with cancer. With the help and support of many friends and community members in Greater Rochester, New York, Gary founded Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc., a 501©3 not-for-profit organization, to provide Teddi and other children with cancer the opportunity to come together in a residential camping experience, to be with the only ones who could truly understand what they were going through – other children with cancer. Camp Good Days was the fourth organization of its kind in the United States and the first to be started by a lay person. Since its inception, Camp Good Days has served more than 42,000 campers from 22 states and 25 foreign countries. Camp Good Days maintains accreditation from the American Camp Association;and has been inducted into the Safety 1st Hall of Fame by Markel Insurance Company.

  17. The stocks on better guns are also cast on (right handed) or cast off (left handed) so your looking straight down the barrel The 3" slug barrel will fit a 3 1/2" gun but you will only be able to shoot 3" slugs I have done it with my Win. also made by FN as is the Browning. Have you gotten a price on that slug barrel yet ? if not make sure your sitting down
  18. The M1903 was produced buy Springfield and Rock Island Armory from 1905 until about 1919. In 1941 Remington started manufacture of the M1903 for WWII using RIA's old worn out tooling that was in storage since 1919. After having proplems with these rifles they were given permission for changes to the manufacturing process and the rifle which became the M1903A3. These rifles started at or about serial number 3,330,000 There is a group of serial numbers which include some of the last RIA and some of the 03 made by Remington in 1941 that have weak actions due to the worn out tooling. M1903A3's were also made by Smith Corona for WWII
