I rarely ever use calls... Never had much success with them ( I probably just suck at it honestly lol) The only time I will grunt is if a deer is moving and I want to stop it to take my shot... and I just do that with my mouth lol not really calling

Your barrel isnt stabilizing the heavy bullets fast enough As for perfect deer rifle I don't think there is ONE caliber that is perfect for deer It depends how you are hunting and where... If your hunting where you will be shooting 500 yard you don't want a 30-30 But if you are hunting thick bush where you wont get a shot over 150 yards you don't want to be carrying a big 30-06 around This is why everybody needs MANY guns

Thats because hunting season is like a long holiday for them too... They get left alone for most of the day

Cant blame you there doc... And trust me I do agree with you that guns/alcohol dont mix (just look at the case in buffalo where some drunken fool shot his best friend dead because he wouldn't let him drive home drunk) But I know their are many people out there who can keep themselves under control and still enjoy a cold beer with his lunch before he goes out hunting and be ok. Everybody is different some I wouldnt want touching a gun after just one drink and others can drink a 6 pack or more and ill feel safe standing next to them at the gun range.
