  1. White/pink dinner bell glow spoon tipped with a fathead. Also caught a couple big gills. It was an interesting bite. Most fish came to look at the minnow but then backed out, so I played bait and switch and would send a tiny tungsten jig tipped with a spike or 3 down and they inhaled it. That worked a few times. The benefit of having a flasher ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

  6. I'd say minimum 50 each, and not feel like I'm bloating the numbers. Great day ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  7. The faith shared by this family is truly something special. Moog is an admirable man of faith greater than most, and when tested his faith only grew stronger. Ana was just as strong through her battle, and now gets to enjoy her eternity. We all hoped and prayed for a miracle, and even though it didn't happen the way we selfishly wanted, we still get to rejoice for her passing knowing she's celebrating in heaven. You and your family is in our thoughts, brother. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  8. 5". This spot is an acre pond, but has some giant panfish. Was trying to find some crappies. There is perch in there as well, but we went after dark and only fished for an hour and change. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  9. First time out. Brought a few nice gills through the ice. The crappie evaded us, but was great to be out there again. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  10. Or a dozen beavers ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  11. Forget the hatchet. Save the weight and use your teeth. Beavers do it. I had a buddy with a nephew that would chew through 8' around poplar trees. Took some time but got it done. He actually built a fairly large log cabin with this method. All the logs were held together by spit. Beautiful place. Regardless. Glad that you and Moog5050 survived ! 13. Thanks ! I am hopeful that my son (and daughter) continues to love the outdoors, and I'll try my best to give him every opportunity to enjoy it ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  14. I encourage that. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  15. Took my son on a mission to get him his first steelhead on the fly. We succeeded. He brought both of these fish to the bank. Awesome afternoon and the kid walked a couple miles and never complained. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  16. I don't remember any long conversations... Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  17. Solid pricing and great installers for electronics as well. A+ dealer Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  18. I have a 19.6. I fish with my 6yr old son a ton, so I'm launching and loading solo. If you have been around boats like you say, handling the boat solo won't be an issue. Extra space will be better than being cramped. I would guess that@Robhuntandfish would agree that there was plenty of room for trolling with 3 guys and@Pygmy can verify there was enough room for 4 trolling, even though I chose to sit on his lap.... The day we fished 4 with Pygmy we ran 8 leads on boards, 2 dipsys and 2 riggers so don't be fooled that a dual console can't be a trolling machine. We boxed out in an about 2 hours iirc. 19. Rick @ krenzer is a stand up guy. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  20. Dual console is far superior in alot of important categories over a tiller. As far as manufacturer, if your looking new, starcraft and lund ( best tin cans on the water ) will be hard to find in your range. I'd really consider 18-20'. Far from "too big" to fish any pond your after and will handle LadyO when you need it to. Lots of trackers on the great lakes, but I think that's price driven. Alumacraft and princecraft are also popular and less expensive than Lund or starcraft. Before you buy, get on some boats that are setup for your style/styles of fishing. Layout of the boat will be more important than the manufacturer. If it's your first bigger boat I would also recommend going used, so if you find you don't like it, or like something more, or want to go bigger, you won't lose your a$$ when it's time to sell. Good luck in your search and keep us posted on what your finding. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
