  1. Let's say I double that, get you 2 box's of your favorite brew, keep em cold and you let me in on that stand of yours....??? Lol. It's Def on my bucket list to hit the triangle but I refuse to "pay" for a whitetail. It's very tough to find good public too, as nobody gives you the real scoop on decent spots. I was trying to do an Ohio bowhunt on public this year with a friend of mine but his wife had some medical issues and we didn't make it there. Without serious scouting I'm cautious to invest the effort just off topo maps. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  2. Bow season trumps gun season anyday. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  4. Man, I'm lucky.... There are so many great days I can think of quickly. Obviously the harvest days are up there but also plenty of other great days. Worst day ??? Well, oddly enough last Saturday after I punched my last buck tag for 17'. But in reality it's as good as it is bad !! I guess my best day was also my worst. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  5. I can't imagine that they would stay in our WNY area. Possibly southern tier but that's basically where the big hills are and close to pa. I sure would love to hear the bulls scream as the sun comes up some morning... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  6. Well. It's not a scam, but we definitely pay too much for camo . If you can breakup you silhouette your doing something. Can camo make you invisible ? Obviously not. For the blind hunts I'll definitely wear black or some dark camo prints I have. Depends on the weather. Last year I wore my black carharts in the blind late season. Camo is kind of a staple to wear while hunting, though. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  7. Never tried the boot covers but that's how they became popular. I have the full suit, bibs and jacket. Best suit hands down and I have tried them all. I can pretty much guarantee they will do what you want them too. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  11. Ozonics. Hands down. When you can beat a down wind nose everytime. I've seen deer bust me visually, go down wind and get upset they can't get my scent. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  12. Well I ain't scared to walk !!! Nice one right there.... Kansas has some real giants. Ny has alot of potential and I think will be comparable to the "triangle" and Ohio in the future. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  13. Welcome. Good luck on your deadline ! ( See what I did there? ). Get out there and hunt, learn and soak it all in. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  14. Look into forestry companies. Great option for leasing. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  15. Who would think somebody from Kansas would be checking out the ny forums... Cool ! Welcome ! Trade stands for a week ? Lol Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  16. The middle buster will not work well with any sod on top. Tillers are the best option but if you could score a cheap disc and plow setup you will be good to go. As far as the lime you can bucket it and spread it or get a spreader for best results. If you are thinking atv, side by sides are amazing and have huge carrying and towing capacities. 17. Typical. The love and hate relationship with a trail cam. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  18. I do slack a bit on the scent regiment. But, I have the old faithful ozonics to keep me in check. I do however always have the attitude that the gun works further then then nose... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  19. That's why I keep my girlish figure. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  20. Momma doe is prob off getting bred for 2nd rut. I'd sit tight, she may bring a friend back to check on the kids Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  25. To add to that, I have a few good bucks under my belt ( that I put my time in for ) and with this year's gun buck that's my 9th over 120". Reality is..... It's my 22nd year hunting bow and gun. I have a handful of smaller bucks from my early years, but if you do the math I've gone without more than with. I had a few years in a row with zero bones but I also ass on a bunch. Little or big, the opportunity to harvest isn't always there, but the opportunity to learn is around everyday, in the woods, the car, the forums whatever. Soak it up my friend...
