  1. Rage extreme. Those trypans look good, but I have a few hides to punch through first Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  2. That's alot of steaks... I can hear him saying it now, " oh deer, does this rack make my a$$ look fat"??? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  3. Tiller is the way to go, if the funds allow, then u don't have to monkey with a plow/disc combo. Basically any implement is a great investment. Boom pole, box scraper, brush hog and back blade is in my arsenal so far. I'm looking for a snowblower, post hole digger, York rake currently. I watch Craigslist and get used but not abused. I find no sense in buying implements new that are gonna lose paint on day one. I have the best one already, the loader. Other than that, just get one of each and you will be satisfied and able to attack any job ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  4. I think u missed a small spot way up high there.... Just kidding. Looks awesome, I'd be proud to store my stuff inside there. Heck, I'd even come to the square dance if you had one !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  5. And Lt is light truck. E is load range. E is an Lt. LT has a few different load ranges (weight capacity) available but they are all LT. When u go to a passenger tire it significantly lowers load range. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  6. Also, I have gotten my tires from wally world. They will usually be the least expensive and/or price match. Plus I can get 24mo @ 0% on the wally card which lightens the load as well. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  7. Go for the E. I assume they change ratings and ply per size. Mine are 10ply Lt. I guess my point is, my mileage success has come for the heavier duty tires. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  8. Lt = light truck = more ply. P or ps is passenger= less ply Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. That's where I saw the difference. If you change your mind and do duratrac, get the LT. More ply and harder rubber...longer life. Most of my daily driving is city like. I also stack 40k a year on. Also, rotated the tires every oil change. Makes a world of difference. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  10. I like the unicorn. I happen to have one myself this year, again. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  11. Out of curiosity. Were your duratrac LT or not ? My last set was not Lt and only lasted about 45k in half ton. My previous last set was on a 3/4 ton and were LT, had 60k and plenty of meat to pass inspection. New truck I got LT but only have a few thousand so far. This is my 3rd pair. Also, my 3rd truck. Tires seem to be lasting longer than my trucks.... As far as the bfg's I hope they work for you. Had the ta/ko and regular ta. Both wore out under 30k Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  12. Hey ! I was serious !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  13. Nice. If you don't already have a name, I'd call him Norwood. He is wide right Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  14. Awesome rehab. Looking great ! Btw, the flagstick... That's so you can get accurate windage values to dope your scope...right? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  15. I remember rifle qual week very well.... I also remember the recruit who pointed his rifle the wrong way, and had every DI on the range attacking him like wild dogs. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  16. That's a dandy.... Where do you live ? ( Exactly ) Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  17. I can tell you only from personal experience.... Practicing/prepping can be done all year long, and you can still fail miserably. On a side note, If you haven't ever climbed a tree yet I highly recommend you practice before you ever take it hunting. Also, an inexpensive harness could save your life. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  18. This arguement follows me everywhere.... No comment on the potential for you to be correct, or incorrect. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  19. I'd say the mild winters lower stress and allow for a more diverse vegetation growth which in turn gives us a healthy herd, with larger racks. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  20. Ps..... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  21. Would be nice to see him hard horned, and in the back of your truck.... !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  22. Sorry Chris. I usually name em all. Even named a pile of doe over the years. Some of my favs... Well, big momma, crabby, the vamp, straight up, eddy. The list is long. I'd say it's more for fun, not like naming a dog or cat... "That 6pt" can get confusing when discussing the herd action with fellow hunters. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  23. Alot of American chestnuts are wiped out. Pretty rare in this area. Chinese chestnuts are all over. Even some hybrids out there. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  24. Just a small fact. Population. "back in the day" the population was so small that there were party permits for doe, I'm sure a bunch of you know what thats about. Most hunters were lucky to even see a deer let alone get one. So, meat and trophy hunters alike were basically going to shoot the first deer they saw. Fast forward to present time where you can get a half dozen tags and have a great opportunity to fill a few of those, some have chosen to be more selective in their harvests. Just like the guy in the pic, he's carrying a deer out on his back. He doesn't have a sled, or a horse or a tractor etc. He's doing it HIS way. Harder than a sled, or tractor yet he's doing it. Some might look at him and think he's crazy for carrying the deer out when they have a sled or tractor or even an ATV ( pic is not 80's but ATVs were available then) as that's the method they prefer. He hunted, he scored, and apparently his friend was proud of him. I'm a trophy hunter who has alot of friends with a similar style of hunting. I also have a bunch of friends that meat hunt. I can't imagine asking the rediculous questions of the OP in the derogatory fashion that it portrays. Do I speak for all trophy hunters, no. Do I speak for all meat hunters, no. I speak for treeguy. I think there are alot of hunters who have a chip on there shoulder. For whatever the reasons may be. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  25. Looks real good ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
