Says " gonna go after this or that cause they will be EASIER to pattern" Then says "they gotta be smart and give me a challenge" Then tries to justify the reason it's sensible to answer the OP from the opposite end of the question Then makes the comment at the " typical male ego" Say X, then say Y, then throw jabs, then contradict, more jabs, then jab at others because they are throwing jabs.... contradict again and use the " you just won't understand" line, when the reality is YOU don't and won't understand, so maybe it's time to sit back and just read, so you can learn about THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND THE QUEST FOR TROPHY RACKS, instead of teaching us about your quest, which is clearly not what the OP was geared toward. I offered to donate my cell cam, as I'd love to be the one flooding the web with pics the moment it's captured. We shall see the outcome. On a side note, it's absurd to me that a cat would make it from Dakota's to CT. That is nuts !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

So, word on the street is that there's a big kitty cat running around in Orchard park. I was told that a woman saw this "cat" and heard the screams of what sounded like a... Well, I'd rather not say yet but supposedly the DEC is coming to set cam's and investigate the area. I really wonder how many times this has come up, and I'd sure like to see the proof of these "big cats". Stayed tuned for the typical ending, but I am hopeful some proof shows up. I kinda want to put on a squatch outfit and run through the woods. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

He is a stud... Get em !!! Also in leu of the "psych" post, im sure you have enjoyed the years of hunting him more than the steaks you would have got when he was a youngin !! I know the feeling of catching that old elusive guy that's haunted you for years and I hope you get to experience it too, like this Oct !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I've heard that certain "CSI" stuff works, but I know for sure that a purpleish-blue led WILL NOT... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk -
So grow, here's the way I perceived your post.... Your a meat hunter who feeds your dog's venison. That right there shows me your exact hunting style. It also makes it apparent why you took offense to all the posts about patience and knowledge etc. Like having the patience to take your "rutted" steaks and make burgers, or sausage. I've killed a pile of rutted bucks and have NEVER had a bad steak. Lets not get into all the other reasons it may have tasted bad or what you ( as a meat hunter ) could have done to preserve the meat of an animal YOU killed. What a waste. Unless, you purposely kill deer to feed your dog's. There's so many ways you could have played that scenario out, yet you immediatly need to go for the fork horn... That also shows how set you are in your ways being the right way, or best way, or the way all hunters should be. Like I said many times before,I will never hesitate to express my style of hunting but I am not going to go through a rediculous song and dance to make my way the right and only way or am I going to bash fawn slayers because the meat is "better". If we could only keep it to facts and try and educate each other on facts Vs old school methods of thinking (not methods of hunting) that the "old way" is the only way. By far, undoubtedly was a Remington " blood tracker" led cap light. Package said will illuminate blood... was excited for the first use... quickly became more excited to toss it in the trash can. Thankfully it was on sale at wally world for around 10$. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk -

OK perhaps this will put this to bed...read the last three post...If my point isn't seen, then It flew to high over your head. My opinion was not directed JUST at you. it was a statement of how things can be read when worded a certain way "words perceived" Well that's weird, why would you you want to go to bed ? Are you posting while your extremely tired ? That's the way I "perceived" it.... But again I'll say, check your list. Other than the last statement.. . Are you telling me those are insults ? Are those valid statements ? Are these "common phrases" being tossed around incorrect ? Or is it that YOUR taking offense to them because YOU don't have the drive to hunt mature deer ??? Let me try and dumb it down to get some answers about YOUR hunting style... Let's say there is a fork horn, 1.5 yr old at 40 yrds broadside and a 140" 3.5 yr old 10pt facing away from you at 60 yards. Both are browsing and have no idea your there. It's gun season... Honestly, put yourself in the situation and tell me what you would do. Please feel free to unfold the story any way you want. GO Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Ditto I find it funny how you bring up that I'm bashing someone without knowing it... Then you say " not to pick on you" yet you used my name. Seems your THAT kind of guy. And if that's your definition of nasty I'd hate to see when your faced with conflict in real life situations. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Not picking on you tree guy it's just that your quotes are a prime example of what has been a repeat theme in this thread. As I said before.... types of put downs without realizing it... The thought that all 31/2 year olds were easy hunts for the ones that got them, thus lesser deer then a 41/2 ..lol Assumptions that the "trophy" guys put more of everything into getting their deer. It's there in black and white several places in here... So, we can agree I never said young deer, or any deer was easy to kill, so scratch #5 off your list and then take a moment to read your list back to yourself..... Other than luck, do you really think #1-4 aren't true ? Do you think it's an insult to anyone for me to say those things ?? To all those folks out there that took offense to me mentioning the fact that trying to take mature deer may be #1-4 and found that offensive or a stab to make myself look better or whatever grow thinks I'm trying to say, I dont apologize. We all know this thread was started to get everybody stirred up, and in true fashion we all play along. Thanks for picking on me grow... I skipped reading all 7 pages... I am always after MATURE bucks. I am satisfied not getting a buck and passing on the younger guys all season. I find it requires more patience, and knowledge to consistently kill mature bucks. I like a challenge. If hunting was easy, I prob wouldn't enjoy as much or for as long. As far as antler size, typically mature deer will have large antlers. I have never poked at the guys shooting button bucks or have ever tried to say that my way is the right way. I get most hunters styles and why they hunt the way they do. On thing is for sure, in a perfect world where we all practiced qdm, we would all have the opportunity at mature bucks every year. Anyone that hunts deer will typically dream of that "big" buck in hopes of getting one, the problem lies where reality exists, not enough time, not enough land, not enough patience, not enough knowledge and you end up shooting something other than a mature deer. I get it. Freezer is full. Family fed and you can't eat antlers. This is a subject that nobody can "win". Your relying on individual opinions, and they are too many. But take a step back from both sides, realize that changing people's style won't happen, unless done by laws. Me personally, I'd love to see an antler restriction put in place. It may be a tough couple years for some but I have a suspicion that after a few years we would all be seeing more big racked mature bucks. I can't imagine any hunter dreams of that button buck on the night before opening day... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

You wouldn't know if the tile is loose unless you remove the grout around all four sides Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk -
Kitchen floor help

Second. Typically speaking there are two reasons grout cracks , 1 is that the floor /tile is loose (most common). Typically if mortar or subfloor is not done correctly the tile will shift and crack the grout. 2 is that the grout was not installed correctly, but if you say it's the only spot I'll have to assume it's #1 meaning the tile is prob loose. This is not a great scenario. Was a concrete board used ? What was thickness of mortar when applied ? If it was me, and I'd rather bite the bullet than wait and see, I'd remove the grout all the way around that tile and be certain that it's not loose. If it's not pray your new grout isn't miles away in color ( I think you will be fine ) I know some major grout manufacturers even have it in a caulk tube which can be a nice time saver. I did a job for a friend that got hosed. They had grout cracking in their entryway. Long story short the installer never put enough mortar and tile had no backer board installed under. I tore it all out, did hardi-board and re-installed. Costly and time consuming but necessary. That was a couple years ago... No more cracks. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
