I have a ladderstand in a tree that has a ladderstand on the opposite side. Tree is on the property line. I have never seen anyone in that stand. Not much you can do, and as others have said you can't let them dictate where you hunt. I say send it and sit the stand you need to for effectively hunting the property. I still don't understand.... But it is your choice to not post pics. Haters will hate either way. I will always post pics cause I'm always thrilled to harvest a mature buck and I can't recall being bashed in any way---- not cause I haven't been, because nobody can take me off my pedestal since I put myself there !!! Congrats again on a great deer, great story and a successful plan that came together. Every deer, especially a mature buck with the bow is a trophy. @Arcade Hunter is a perfect example of celebrating the harvest. Never did he say " not my biggest " or talk of ground shrinkage. His smile an attitude was exactly what I hope to see in all of us who are successful and his character which is similar to many others here is the reason I'm more than willing to be a part of this forum. Penn raised and released as fingerlings. They def do their growing up in the big water. As far as eating them, king salmon from Ontario are definitely safe to eat. My personal opinion is I'd rather not even touch one of those spawned up mud sharks in the creeks. Just remember, every fish you catch and release is going to die anyway so it's worth a shot at tossing them on the grill or in the smoker. Good luck ! Eat bbq baked beans the night before you go ! I have to agree to disagree. Last season my son forced me to wave chocolate around while on stand. I did it, like any good father would, and within minutes had a doe under the stand ( which I sent a video to my wife for his viewing ). Not 20 minutes after that I had an arrow in a beautiful 8pt. Sunday, when I took him out in the blind we of course had to bring some chocolate for both of us. We saw a herd of deer, a flock of turkeys but the chocolate proved too effective and the doe that came in range was actually too close to shoot.
