LIVE From The Woods 2020 - Let's hear stories and see some pictures!
TreeGuy replied to Marion's topic in Deer Hunting
Gman. Can you handle me proving you wrong for a third time ?? Seriously though, I asked politely to move this topic to it's own thread so these poor sportsman on the site won't have to read through this crap when we should be keeping it to LIVE FROM THE WOODS. On a side note, I thank God for my lawyer. Seriously. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk -

Start a thread, I'd love to hear the thought process on those who might think it's not ethical, moral, and fair chase. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk -

I was alerted by the cam that this guy was entering the plot. Dang leaves on the trees, I couldn't see him till he got in the plot. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk -

Prob not the way your thinking. She works at the UPS store and is quite sarcastic, and as you know I'm not very shy with my sarcasm. Was always fun when random strangers were at the store and we would promptly start our banter as I walked in the door. As far as burying anything, hard pass. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

PROOF of the GOOSE ! You left and my wife asked what kind of name is "the goose" lol. That girl you were with is something else.... Have had many interactions with her and it's always memorable..... Great to see you though ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I also have a cab, that I thought I would hate but, the fan with windows out keeps it cool-ish in the summer and it's fantastic when it's winter. The time I really loved having it was when I popped a hydraulic line on the loader and fluid went everywhere, except on me. Gotta watch the brush when driving through the woods but we have defined trails so it's not a major issue. They are not a necessity but definitely come in handy Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Those "lawnmowers" are a fantastic piece of equipment. The only thing that happens is after awhile you want bigger, which never really ends. Nice thing is you usually can get most of your money back. Enjoy the rig Don't forget Kubota has 0% financing right now...... Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I had a similar racked buck who after 3 years of a weak side exploded into a giant. Spike/3, then fork with kicker by 4 then a 4x5 9pt. I would personally pass at the hopes of seeing him later in life. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Yes, it is. But they were hibernating below the ice so it was safe to take a pic with a fresh kill that close to the waters edge. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I should have noted, that this was from the ground, no blind and I still have that orange zip up, which I wear often. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

First deer was also my first buck. My first opening day of gun season, heading out for the evening sit, I came across a bowhunter on a track. He had hit the deer bad the night before and tracked him that night and the next morning. He was not confident in his shot and didn't seem interested in investing any more time in the track. My dad asked me what I wanted to do, head to the stand or follow the track.... after one heck of a track job we had him pinned down in some thick stuff, on the edge of a creek. I waited till he stood up and the rest is history. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
