Ok so i have a question. I recieved a felony for carrying a loaded rifle in the state of ny (on the street infront of my house) and also with possesion of an ulawful weapon as a minor. But heres the catch i was 17 years old and i recieved youthful offender which my charges will be expunged from my record in as soon as im off probation in 2 months . will i be able to purchase a RIFLE after my record is sealed no one seems to know. some one told me to just go and try to purchase a gun and see what happens but my older brother had a restraing order on him back in the day and when he applied for a gun he had to right a letter to the fbi stating he did not remember he had the order from almost 2 years prior
