I have already made a post in the general chitchat section but I guess I should do an official introduction. I am a 24 year old guy working in the semiconductor industry for about 6 years now. The company I work for has a lot of positions open in New York. Most of them are in the Malta area. I am considering the relocation but want to know what the hunting is like in the state. I currently live in North Plains, OR which is about 20 miles from Portland. The company I work for has a lot of positions open in the Malta, New York area. I have not applied for a transfer yet but before I will even consider telling my wife, I want to know what the hunting is like in New York state. I don't mind if I have to drive a ways. How many deer can a hunter harvest per year, and is it realistic to tag out on any given year. I have never lived near the East Coast and my wife has never lived anywhere but Oregon. This seems like it would be a good opportunity even if its not going to be a pay increase. Thanks, Kevin
