John you are not far from us and we do have property available for hunting. I won't do a yearly lease, but I am sure we could work something out.

The 162 acre parcel is no longer available. Thanks to all of those who replied, it was appreciated. As for the comment that the agreements were negotiable; most things are if people have patience and understanding. Anyhow, we also offer private hunting with or without lodging on our 187 acre parcel bordered by the 500 DOT land. Feel free to contact us and thanks again for the interests.

Yes DOT is Department of Transportation. As far as it being on craigslist all summer long, it's been since the end of July. Should we not put it on CL? We've had plenty of interest although they seem to be more serious as the season gets closer and even some lodging bookings. Is there some listing etiquette that I am unaware of?

We currently have 2 parcels of land that we are willing to lease for hunting. Both are located in Worcester, NY - Otsego County 1) 187 acre farm that widely borders 500 acres of secluded DOT land. This acreage is 50/50 hay fields and wooded acreage, all of 500 acres of DOT land is wooded 2) 162 acre dairy farm that consists of crop and wooded acreage. We are considering yearly leases, but as well are offering seasonal or weekly leases on the 187 acres for those that can not justify a yearly land lease. This is prime hunting land as it has been manged very well by family for many years. The potential for trophy game is certainly here! Lodging for either is available on the 187 acre parcel.
